Meet the team - Mark
If you’ve been following Fourdesign for a while, chances are you’ve come across one of Mark’s designs. Mark has been with Fourdesign for almost 10 years. What started as an internship has grown into his role today as Art Director.
From intern to Art Director
“I’m Mark, 30 years old, and I love what I do. I started at Fourdesign in 2015 as a Graphic Design intern. Over the years, I’ve grown into the role of Art Director. In that role, I am responsible for the broad outlines and visual aspects of the brand strategy. My focus is therefore mainly on brand strategy, concept, and guiding the creative output created by my colleagues.”
The power behind Fourdesign
“At Fourdesign, the real strength lies in continuously improving yourself. That’s exactly what motivates me, and why this place is such a perfect fit for me. There are plenty of opportunities to learn, and I’ve already completed several courses. The space and freedom I get have helped me a lot. Fourdesign continues to develop, and I grow along with it.”
A career full of milestones
“I felt most valued when we received the positive feedback after the project with Bureau Vandervorm. It was great to see that what you create genuinely delivers results for the client. This project pushed me to deepen my knowledge and contribute strategically through design. You immediately notice that when everything works together, you can achieve so much more.”
“I’m also proud of the rebranding of TTA-ISO. It wasn’t easy to give two companies a unified identity. By being involved from the very beginning, we were able to take a thorough approach and really influence the outcome. In this project, we brought strategy and design together in the best possible way, and in my view, that’s what led to such a strong result.”
Team & atmosphere
“The atmosphere here is collaborative, curious, and social. We’re a small team where everyone knows each other, which creates an open and informal culture. We share a strong drive to achieve the best results for our clients. By challenging one another, we bring out the best in the team, and in ourselves.”
“If you have a question, you’ll always get an answer. There’s plenty of space to discuss ideas when you’re stuck, or to brainstorm the best approach before starting a project. And throughout the process, there’s a lot of constructive feedback, which ultimately leads to better outcomes.”
